Top 20 Posts on Get Busy Living

I’m in Blog World New York this week as a first time conference attendee. I love New York City so it’s a great place for my first conference.

I’ve been searching online about how to best prepare for Blog World and came across some great posts by Kristi over at Kikolani.com. She’s been to a couple and wrote great recaps and advice for first timers.

One advice was to prepare my blog for any new visitors to my blog and for the people I’ll meet this week who might stop by.

So I’ve put together a list of the most popular posts on Get Busy Living based on Google Analytics. In order of views.

Ah! Hope you’re having fun, I wanted to travel up from Jersey but not in the cards for me this year. I actually just heard about it, so now I know I can save for it for the next time around. Looking forward to all the cool things you’ll learn and (hopefully) share with us :)

Once again Google Analytics is a great resource. More people need to take advantage of this free opportunity. Another free way to track readers and fans is on Facebook using Facebook Insights. They do the work for you and you get to examine the data.

Thanks Elena for sharing. I just learned about Facebook insights during Blog World. Great way to see how readers come to my FB page.

Hope you have fun at the conference, Benny. I’m sure you’ll learn a lot and meet a lot of wonderful, new people. It was great reading your list of blog posts. I think there were a few that I missed that I can check out now since you have them all in one place.

    Take care and enjoy!!

    • http://getbusylivingblog.com Benny

Thanks so much Allyson! I wanted to do a list post like this for awhile so new readers can read some of the more popular posts. Going to the conference gave me a great time to post it. Hope you’re doing well!

  • Johnny

    Benny,

I really enjoy going to conferences as well – to meet people, mainly. Blogging can be a really “cold” activity sometimes…

    -John

    • http://getbusylivingblog.com Benny

Thanks John. Which conferences have you been to? Any blogging related or related to your career? Blogging can easily be done without interacting with anyone else, but to me that’s not fun. Thanks for leaving a comment!

  • Sam

Wow, you are at blog world. Must be awesome to be there. Just enjoy and ‘get busy living’ :D

    • http://getbusylivingblog.com Benny

Thanks Sam. I had a great time. I wanted to learn more about blogging and new media and to meet other bloggers. Was able to do both. You should attend one day if that interests you! Thanks for your comment.

In regards to “6 Terrible Excuses That You Should Never Believe” I too am guilty of the “I don’t have time” excuse. It seems many of us take advantage of time in general, but anyone can “make” time if they truly want to.

    • http://getbusylivingblog.com Benny

We all can make more time in our life if we really try. If you keep track of what you do every single hour for a week, I’m sure you’d be surprised at certain tasks you do that take up way too much time.
