Over at Insipiredmoneymaker.com, Paul is running a contest , the Affiliate Marketing Challenge #3, and part of it is to come up with three prizes that could be potential giveaways from upcoming affiliate marketing challenges. Having these great prizes really gives motivation when you enter these contests.
A Ferrari would have been awesome but that’s not under $300. Nor was tickets to the Playboy Mansion Super Bowl party in Tampa. Therefore I really thought outside the box. Tried to at least.
So after much thinking and working with a budget given by Paul ($300, $200, $100), here are my top three prizes that he should consider for the next contest.
1) Sony BDP-S350 1080p Blu-ray Disc Player

Revel in astounding HD clarity with the BDP-S350 Blu-ray Disc player. The most noticeable additions to this year’s model are the Ethernet port that lets you download firmware updates directly to the player, and — with one of those firmware updates — access web contetent encoded to Blu-ray discs via BD-Live, compatibility with the Bonus View feature of select Blu-ray movies, and a USB port that allows you to add more storage to access the growing number of special features that will be available given the immense storage capacity of Blu-ray discs themeselves. This player also outputs a Full 1080/24p True Cinema picture, and upscales your existing DVD collection to 1080p when using an HDMI connection. Dolby TrueHD capability delivers lossless sound that is true to the original studio master. Bringing it all together is the new icon based Xcross Media Bar, which provides simple navigation of the player’s menu system.
2) Tokyo Flash Men’s Star Performer Black Ion Plated Watch

Tokyo Flash makes timepieces like no other, and its Star Performer is a stellar example of its futuristic design ethos. This tall-profile stainless steel digital men’s watch has a sleek black ionic plating and a white LED display. Time is indicated by the number that’s lighted up in each of the four vertical rows-for example, 1-2-5-3 would be 12:53. The display also has four icons at the top that indicate the selected mode-clock for time, martini glass for PM, sun icon for day and date, and dollar sign ($) for year.
The special Pimp mode lights up all the lights in a fireworks-like manner and automatically turns on at 7:00 PM and turns off at 1:00 AM (it can not be switched off). This flashing feature can be demonstrated during the day when you press the time display button, and it runs for 12 consecutive minutes before it goes back into battery-save mode. It’s complemented by a black ionic-plated stainless steel bracelet band (with a double-pushbutton, fold-over safety clasp), and this watch is water resistant to 30 meters (100 feet)-enabling it to withstand splashes and accidental dunks into the water, but not suitable for swimming.
3) Apple iPod shuffle 1 GB Silver (2nd Generation) with $50 Itunes card

Using either witchcraft, fairy dust or highly gifted engineers (we’re not sure which), Apple has created an iPod Shuffle of an almost impossibly small size. Only slightly bigger than a U.S. quarter, this teesy-weesy device packs 1GB of Storage space. Enough for up to 240 of your favorite songs! Apple also attached a clip to the back of the Shuffle, so you can wear it anywhere for skip-free Music playback. Perfect for working out or just walking down the street. Unit Dimensions - 1.62 x 1.07 x 0.41 (inc. clip) Unit Weight - 0.55 oz. Color - Silver
**Extra - ASUS Eee PC 900HA 8.9-Inch Netbook (1.6 GHz Intel ATOM N270 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, XP Home)

This just missed the #1 budget of $300 by $20.99! Includes free shipping from Amazon. That’s not that much Paul! This would be a great prize to give away. A tiny little laptop that can be taken anywhere. As much as we get on the internet, this would be great motivation to get the top prize!
