What’s my experience with iPhone apps?
In January 2011, I began to develop my first every iPhone app. I knew nothing about creating iPhone apps or outsourcing. I bought an ebook to help me along the way, but I came across so many situations they didn’t teach in the book.
My app, Photo 365, was released on August 11, 2011. In the first week, my app earned $1,196.46. The following Thursday (just a week after my app was released) my app was featured as New & Noteworthy. That gave me front page exposure in the app store.
That weekend Photo 365 earned $4,739 alone!
It gets better. I know it’s hard to believe, but it does.
That following Thursday (just two weeks after my app was released), I hit the holy grail of the App store. I made App of the week.
This was my first ever app, and I got featured as App of the week.
